The KEEPING BUTTERFLIES Mission

Here at Keepingbutterflies.com, we are trying to educate the world about butterflies and moths. We want to help people learn about them. We are trying to combat the current "hands off nature" culture that we currently live in. We want people to be educated and engaged in the mysterious and wonderful creatures that live around us.

Keeping Butterflies AROUND

Many butterfly and moth species are going away. Species like the Regal Fritillary have retreated out of many of their former habitats. However, some species are increasing in number. Species like the Pipevine swallowtail greatly benefit from gardens planting their host plants. You can help species by planting butterfly gardens. Planting host plants can especially help butterflies.
